Beyoncé is Vogue’s September cover girl. The Queen of the music industry graced the most important issue of the year in a $12,000 dress and $4,800 coat, both by Marc Jacobs. The designer says of his client,“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.”
Lensed by Mario Testino, the images show Beyoncé with wet hair and minimal makeup, surrounded by opulence and wearing couture by Stella McCartney, Riccardo Tisci and Atelier Versace. Vogue.com have created a virtual shrine to their cover star, complete with exclusive videos, designers gushing about BeyBey and accompanying articles chronicling her style, beauty evolution and more. The Beyhive should be most pleased.
